About
I’m a content designer with over fifteen years experience. I’ve worked in mature content orgs, and I’ve started content practices from scratch. I’m extremely focused on using words and strategy to add value to large companies, start-ups and non-profits.
Work
At Meta, I work cross functionally to design experiments and evergreen launches that enable our team to meet its revenue goals. I keep product vision and legal constraints at the forefront while creating experiences that give billions of people across Instagram and Facebook choices about how their data is used.
I celebrate relationships and history in Messenger chats by working with Product, Engineering and Design to release a memories feature. I’ve re-envisioned search so that it provides new opportunities to connect, and I’m currently working on notifications, creating new ways to safely help people stay engaged.
In Reliability Engineering at Comcast, I started a content practice from scratch, instilling processes that saved time, increased revenue and simplified the workday.
At Western Systems Research, I originated a voice and vision for a medical start-up, one that targeted doctors and hospitals across the globe, raising revenue and instilling confidence in cutting-edge technology.
At The Philadelphia Committee to End Homeless, I raised funds and changed policy, enabling families to live in homes instead of shelters.
Education
I have an MFA in Writing from Columbia University. My degree helps me to dive deeply into the structure of a sentence, as well as the structure of a strategy. It’s given me unique insight into voice, tone, usage and grammar. When I was a graduate student, I taught writing at Columbia. My teaching experience has been invaluable in mentoring junior writers.
Life
I live with my husband and our son. We make our own pizza, play chess in the park and have family jam sessions whenever we have the chance.
